10 most intelligent animals of the planet

We all know that not only man is a rational being in this world. On earth there is a mass of animals that are not lagging behind people in mental development and ingenuity, and in some cases even surpass us. Consider the ten most intelligent animals in the world:
1. Monkey.
Primates, of course, occupy the first line of this hit parade. In particular, chimpanzees and also dwarf chimpanzees (bonobos). In chimpanzees and bonobos the brain volume is 300-400 cubic centimeters – the absolute value of this indicator is quite large, the relative (relative to body weight) – too. Both types solve problem problems in laboratories well, and after an intensive course of study (or if they are given ample opportunities to learn by themselves) are able to communicate using symbols. In nature, these monkeys communicate with each other using a variety of visual and vocal signals.
2. The elephant.
The second place of honor is, surprisingly, the elephant. According to his intellect, he can get even with the chimpanzees themselves. Elephants have an excellent memory, in their skills to use tools and build relationships in their society, they may even surpass monkeys.
3. Dolphin.
Dolphins have a very powerful intelligence, which can also be compared with the intelligence of monkeys. Some researchers argue that dolphins are even smarter than man himself, and therefore they are the smartest living creatures on the planet. However, this question is very controversial.
Scientists have found that dolphins use their own language for communication, consisting of several thousand different sounds that can be compared with hieroglyphs: each such sound is “decomposed” into simpler sounds.
4. The dog.
The dog is a very intelligent animal, rightfully called the most loyal friend of man. It is able to distinguish between intonation and orders of human speech, to understand the meaning and meaning of words spoken by man. This is a pack animal. The dog perceives the human family as its pack. The intelligence of the dog depends on the breed. The most intelligent breeds are Border Collies, poodles, German Shepherd, Golden Retriever.
5. Cat
In the ranking of the most intelligent animals, cats go right behind the dogs, attracting people with their affectionate and peace-loving character. Someone even claims that cats, in addition to a high mind, also have extrasensory abilities. It is often possible to observe that a cat, like a dog, as if absorbs the character of its owner and the atmosphere in the family. Cats are not only clever, but also cunning, possessing quite good resourcefulness of mind and ingenuity. The smartest cat breeds: Siamese, Sphinx, British cat, Siberian, and also Maine Coon.
6. The rat.
Rats are incredibly intelligent animals. They have excellent instincts, cunning and resourcefulness, allowing them to survive in conditions that seem to be unsuitable for survival. Scientists have found that the structure of the brain and humans are very similar, but because rats are actively used in laboratory studies.
These rodents are unpretentious and easily adapt to any troubles.
7. The pig.
Pigs are amazingly intelligent creatures. They could easily replace us with a domestic dog or cat, but it would look funny. The fact is that these animals are clearly undervalued. Due to prejudice, they were ranked as “dirty” animals. Meanwhile, pigs are one of the most intelligent and social creatures. According to research results, pigs have more cognitive abilities than dogs and even children.
According to some conservationists, by virtue of its development, a pig is very much worried before dying and gives its meat a large amount of negative energy, and therefore pig meat is undesirable for eating. Who knows, maybe in the near future pigs will be raised for completely different purposes?
8. Squirrel.
Squirrels, like rats, are very smart and quick-witted. They can be taught to take food from their hands. They easily remember the person who treated them once, so that the next day they could come to him for a treat. Proteins have the ability to hide and accumulate excess food, which speaks of their prudence. In addition, they have a strong character and are always ready to stand up for themselves – to repel anyone who is addicted to their supplies. Such animals will not disappear even in the cold season.
9. Raven.
Crows are considered the smartest birds in the world. The proportion between the brain and the body is about the same as in humans. Over the years, these birds show us their amazing mental abilities, for example, the ability to use an instrument of labor: they can trap tare in their claws and draw water into it or use a sprig to get it from hard-to-reach places. They are very clever and inventive, capable of extraordinary thinking.10. Dove.
No wonder these particular birds were used as postmen, because it is they who have enough intelligence and intelligence to find the right way. During the experiments, it was found that pigeons have a good memory, which allows them to memorize various images for several years.
At all times, man considered himself the smartest intelligent creature on the planet. Someone disputes this fact, arguing that it is possible that some species of animals are superior to people in their development and intelligence. We will not argue. We can only try to live according to our stated mental abilities, without committing stupid and rash acts towards those of our smaller brothers who cannot give us a worthy answer and protect themselves.
